I never knew there was a topiary forum!! I have seen some of these made with foam shapes and also one on a recycle board made with bent wire with ivy and lights for a wedding- has anyone made one? I think I may try to make one.

RE: valentine topiary

Hello,

Welcome to the Topiary Forum, not many visitors down here. I've made a couple what kind do you want to make? How serious do you think you are about Topiary? If you want to make some of your own you should pick up The Complete Book of Topiary. It has many projects with directions for making wire frame and stuffed Topiaries, with houseplants and herbs and even large stuff for your yard.

I'd stay away from foam shapes though if you want to make a live topiary. If you just want to do a 'fake' one with the foam all you do is wrap it with sphagnum moss.

Do you want to make a simple shape with one wire or do you want to make a stuffed frame?
