Any suggestions on sources for 1/2" chicken wire or crafting mesh to use for topiaries? Lumber yard says it's not avialable but I know it is made in that size. The people I bought my property from had built a chicken coup and used the 1/2" wire. I also found a wire teapot that I planted an ivy in. It's not the same grade as chicken wire, being lighter weight, and is really more along the lines of what I'm looking for, for the topiary. Would also like the chicken wire for lining my raised beds.

Check out www.thomasregister.com This is a online version of the Thomas Register located at the Public Library. This register has listings for manufacturers and suppliers of anything you could imagine. You may need to register but accessing their database is free. Hope this helps Mark

| I got the 1/2 in. wire over the internet at a place called Howard Wire Cloth. The trick is to not call it chicken wire--it is listed as "hexagonal wire mesh." But be aware you have to buy a whole roll of it, I called in the order and mailed them a check. Michelle |
