Goldfish plant topiary!

| Hi! I'm trying a different kind of topiary. I saw a picture on a website where someone had made a topiary standard out of a goldfish plant.
So now I'm trying it with my young plants. I took two kinds of goldfish plant, single stems, and twined the two stems togehter and am now training it to be a standard. It looks really awesome although there isn't a lot of foliage yet from the training.
Just figured I'd share. Maybe someone else would like to try this, it's so easy and yet so unique looking!

Lady Lynx, This sounds interesting. However, I do not recognize the plant you are calling a goldfish plant. Help! Is is known by any other name? |

| The Goldfish Plant is a member og the African Violet tribe . the Gesneriads. They are also and correctly called Nematanthus. Pretty readily available here in rural south central New York. They root easily. Best of Luck Lee McDonald |
