starting an indoor topiary wreath

Hey, I'm a newbie with some questions about starting an indoor topiary. I've looked through other posts and found some suggestions, but I have just a few more questions.
For a senior project at my high school, I would like to start an indoor topiary in the shape of a wreath or other basic (not stuffed) shape.
As I only have about 3 months to do this in, what plant (preferably not ivy) could you suggest; other posts suggest honeysuckle, lucifer's vine, passion flower vine, clematis and some others...
And, most importantly, are there any practical must knows before starting?
Thanks. |

| You can get wreath wire frames from craft stores such as Michaels, line it with moss and filled with soilless mixes w/ slow release fertilizers. Most of what you've suggested are outdoor type of vines - clematis, honeysuckles, etc.. not ideal for an indoor project. If this is for indoors and you want to avoid ivies, you could do a herb wreath using parsley, thyme, chives, etc. to fill your wreath. or a succulent wreath(good lighting needed), or you could use baby's tears in masses to cover the entire wreath. |

| I don't have a ton of experience, but I have pothos and it will grow like wild fire if you put it in decent light. Hope that helps! |
