Im in the process of training Coleus into a topiary. Has anyone else done this? and if so, do you have pictures of it that you can share. Also...is there a place on garden web where we can post pictures of our topiary creations?
Thanks and Happy Growing,
Paula

I've never done or seen it Paula but it must be neat! I'd love to see when you do it...I guess you could post the photos right here...Kathleen

I've made a Coleus topiary. It took using the best branch and straightest, keeping all the tips pinched regularly, and in a smallish pot. It looked great, the leaves were full sized but I kept trimming them. I started a small bare straight 'branch' in water until it rooted. Sorry I don't have a picture, but I'm making another, since the last didn't survive the move.

Hey All!
For anyone who is interested in starting a Coleus topiary, Garden Gate Magazine has a how-to article (June 2003 Issue #51) on how to start one. Great instructions w/picture graphics.
