I am now making bear topiary and selling them on E-bay I thinking of getting in to selling the plant with the bear topiary what would be the best plant I can use for that and do I start with a new little plant or can I get a big one and wrap it in string like a Christmas tree and put the topiary I made over it and cut the string and fill in the legs, arms and head.

Here is a link that might be useful: my cheese web site

RE: topiary and the best plant??

Without question, the de facto standard for topiary throughout history has been English Boxwood (buxus sempervirens suffruticosa). Japanese boxwood (buxus microphylla japonica) and its cultivars are a very close second, and are hardier.
