As Topiary, traditionally true Myrtle 'Myrtus communis' is used. It's an evergreen shrub with tiny dark green leaves and a spicy aromatic scent. The white flowers are sweetly fragrant following black fruits. Also known as Greek Myrtle. I have a Dwarf variety trained as Bonsai form. By putting the name in a search engine you will find lots of very interesting reading. Ankrara's Hobby Corner
