Whats the best way to braid Rose of Sharon? They are about 5 inches tall now and are in pots

RE: braiding rose of sharon

First, you'd need to plant them in the same container and make that a large container. Second the stems need to be green and flexible. Next simply braid them and secure with raffia (which prevents scarring of the plant). Braid the stems as it grows. Don't braid too tightly to allow for growth. Too tight and it could strangle the plant.
