Braided camellia?

I picked up some gallon size camellias (Camellia sasanqua) today at Lowe's that have three plants per pot. Being the thrifty gal I am, they will be divided and planted individually. A nice pink camellia hedge is right up my alley, especially since they bloom Dec-Feb!

I also wondered if anyone had ever tried to braid a camellia? They are fairly small and flexible right now, so it would be the time to try it if it's possible. One of the sets of three have long straight main leaders and would be easy to trim if I decided to braid them.

Thoughts?

Well I'm curious if you tried it...?
