moss topiary winter storage

My wife bought a medium sized topiary, wire frame shaped like a tea pot. All I know is that it is moss and we would like to know how to store it in a cold climate. Right now it is in an unheated garage. Sorry about the lack of specifics, if necessary I can attempt to find out what kind of moss it is. Thanks in advance.

Probably spaghnum moss stuffed inside the frame. They are available from garden shops in sheets or by the bags. Usually dry moss which moistenened before it's used. It remains green but not alive. You can simply store it away in a dry area and a garage is fine. To revive it in the following season, simply spray it with water.
