Made a swan topiary...

It's a table top topiary outdoors using an old rusted round metal framed wire-mesh top table with the hole in center for umbrella (no umbrella used here). I planted English ivy in the ground, placed the table over it, then placed the swan on top of that. The swan I made from chicken wire, and is life-sized. I spray painted the swan green. 3 years later, the whole thing is covered with the Ivy. It has been worthwhile. If you would like to see a photo, email me and I will send you my garden album.

I've done a couple in much the same way minus the paint. Rusty chicken wire blends in nicely. I never keep them long, though. There is always someone to give them to or a church fundraiser to donate to.
