Dixon vs Exmark
To all the pros out there (or at least those with good product knowledge!)... I am considering a zero turn for my lawn business, and have looked at and tested a used exmark. The exmark was amazing in how it powered through overgrown lawn even at fast speeds, leaving a great cut behind it. It was a lazer z s series. What I'm wondering is if it would be smarter to buy new rather than used for a thousand(ish) more. The new mower I could do for only a thousand more is a dixon ultra 52 se. It has zt3400 drivetrains which is somewhat commercial, but I'm wondering how it will compare in mowing power and speed. Will it be able to mow at full speed and power through as well as the Exmark? Exmark was 27 hp kohler, dixon is 24 hp kawasaki. Any ideas on the subject would be very helpful! Are all zero turns this efficient, or what (besides engine size) would allow for improved performance. Thanks in advance!
