Visiting Gardens in the Highlands of Scotland

I´m planning a trip to Scotland next June and I would like to visit gardens which are in the area we will be visiting. Our trip will start in Glasgow and then concentrate entirely on the West Coast, up to Lochinver and including the isle of Skye.

I have been to Inverewe Gardens near Poolewe in the Northwest Highlands and they sure are worth a visit. Now I would be interested to hear about other gardens which may be classified as unmissable. Looking at the maps I can identify Arduaine Garden, near Oban, and Crarae Garden, near Inveraray, both in Argyll. Are they worth a visit? What other gardens should we not miss in the West coast of Scotland?

Also, are there any nurseries in this area which you find particularly good and where I could get plants which I can´t find easily back home?

Thanks in advance for your help
Eduarda
