Short Term Rentals in Rome

Posted by tiger-town-gardener (My Page) on

I am trying to find a two week apartment rental in Rome. There are many sites that advertise apartments and many internet warnings about renting an apartment this way. Has anyone on this list done it? Would you recommend an agency/neighborhood?

I would (of course) like to be near one of the gardens!

Many thanks.

You will get answers to your questions on two sites. One is tripadvisor.com, the Rome forum. The other is the Slow Travel site and the Italy forum. Do a search on each before you post. You'll be surprised at how much info has already been posted on this subject. Then join both--it's free--and ask all the questions you want.

Hi! We rented a place in Paris last year through Vacation Rental by Owner- their website is VRBO.com. It could not have been a more plaesant experience! While we had reserved one property, upon arrival the owner upgraded us to a larger property he also owned. I've recommended this site to other friends that have also loved the experience. Good luck and have a great trip.

The apartment is located in Cinecittą.
The flat is huge (100 sq. meters), 1nd floor with elevator, includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, storage room, separate kitchen. Sleeps 7 people very comfortably.
The rent is Euro 120 - 200/day and includes everything (linen, towels, utilities). Minimum stay 2 days. Flexible rent for less people and/or longer periods..
The apartment and the kitchen are fully furnished with everything.
