My wife is planning to visit London for about 10 days from
June 6. Let me know the best time to visit Regent's Park to
see the roses .
And best time to visit white garden in Sissinghurst Castle Garden .
In the trip to England she will also go to some antique markets between visiting the gardens .
Thank you.

| I am a Landscape Architect living close to Sissinghurst and can certainly recommend it as a great garden to visit. The beauty of Sissinghurst is that it is always worth a visit at any time of year. The classic time for the White Garden is probably late June or early July when the central arbour is festooned with a magnificent white rambler (Rosa mulligani- I think), but at any time in June the garden will be looking beautiful so your wife won't be disappointed. Other gardens nearby are Great Dixter, Pashley Manor Merriments and Scotney Castle which are also recommended. Do carefully check opening times of the gardens- Sissinghurst is not open on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Great Dixter is not open on Mondays. Kent and Sussex are two of the counties most rich in gardens to visit, so if anyone else is visiting "the Garden of England" I would be happy to recommendother garden visits and accommodation in the area |
