I live in California and have attended garden week in Virginia twice....nearly every town/city in VA has special tours, exhibits, plant sales, etc. You can see private homes and gardens, plantations and of course all the wonderful historic sites celebrate also. There is a guidebook available that details what is being offered in many towns across Virginia. I've taken my husband and also gone with a friend....it is a wonderful vacation for a group of gardening friends. I highly recommend it. |
