There is an excellent overview of a dozen exceptional public gardens - ranging from Hudson River estates with formal gardens, to the largest glass enclosed conservatory greenhouse in America, indexed under Hudson Valley Attractions in the proximity of Bullis Hall. The historic Inn at Bullis Hall is a restored 19th Century hotel, nestled in the rural and scenic Dutchess County horse & hunt country, between the picturesque villages of Millbrook and Rhinebeck, NY .. which we found to be the creme de la creme of Country Inns (in a region chock-full of B&B accommodations) and our absolute favorite, which is such a nice jumping-off point for exploring the many exquisite gardens found in this region.
