| hi there everyone! i'm going to jacksonville for almost 2 weeks, for work. Thing is, i'll be finishing up every day by noon or 2pm. i would like to go to some local gardens/parks and photograph flowers after i am done working for the day... i love to make use of my macro lens anywhere that i can!
are there any good gardens/parks/conservatories that anyone would recommend? i would love to go to some while I am away!
thanks so much!!

| I'm wondering if you could share what you found, gardenwise, in Jacksonville. I'll be visiting in the area, too. |

Try the Cummer Art Gallery and surrounding neighborhood. http://www.cummer.org/ Or take a short day trip to Amelia Island or St. Augustine. |

| I just became aware of this forum. Too bad you didn't ask in the Florida forum. Cummer is a nice historical garden. The zoo is developing a garden and has a fair diversity of plants. The closest botanical garden is Kanapaha Botanical Garden in Gainesville. |
