hi there everyone! i'm going to jacksonville for almost 2 weeks, for work. Thing is, i'll be finishing up every day by noon or 2pm. i would like to go to some local gardens/parks and photograph flowers after i am done working for the day... i love to make use of my macro lens anywhere that i can!

are there any good gardens/parks/conservatories that anyone would recommend? i would love to go to some while I am away!

thanks so much!!

I'm wondering if you could share what you found, gardenwise, in Jacksonville. I'll be visiting in the area, too.

Try the Cummer Art Gallery and surrounding neighborhood.

Or take a short day trip to Amelia Island or St. Augustine.

I just became aware of this forum. Too bad you didn't ask in the Florida forum. Cummer is a nice historical garden. The zoo is developing a garden and has a fair diversity of plants. The closest botanical garden is Kanapaha Botanical Garden in Gainesville.
