63, recently retired, not super strong but planning a trip through CA. It has been many years since I have been in any foreign country, don't know Spanish but way back when I could make my needs known with sign language and a smile. My son sent me a copy of "Central America on a shoestring" (lonely planet series), but I wondered if any of you seasoned travelers could give me tips/pointers. Planning on spending February there (I hate cold weather and long sleeves). I want to spend less than $2000. for the whole month. TIA |
