I'll be visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens in Ontario for part of one day (perhaps 3 or 4 hours) in late June. Is there any part in particular that you consider to be a "must see?"

I haven't been there myself, but there is also Cullen Gardens just east of Toronto in a city called Whitby. They have a miniature village there too.

It's been a while, but I've been there twice and loved it.

Cootes Paradise is a wildlife sanctuary with nice walking trails. It's a wetlands and very interesting.

I always like the perennial gardens and such, the Laking Gardens is nice.

Check out the website; it provides tons of info and what's in bloom, month by month.

I believe the star attraction are their extensive collection of lilacs - largest in north america. you'll be late to see them in bloom. try to reschedule for earlier date
