| One of the most beautiful gardens I've ever seen. Perhaps someone on this thread can help me select a few plants/trees for a small yard with a new pool that is very close to the fence line. I have 6 tall podocarpis along one side of pool now, but need some plants to fill in and add color and texture, hide the pool equipment and give some drama. I love the purples and oranges, since the pool and house is a gray color. And the decking and flagstone is a blue gray. Photos of gardens, pools and any ideas would be welcome. Sacramento is hot in the summer and occasionally frosts in winter. Manihot grahamii photo is gorgeous, I love bird of paradise, philodendrum (sp) but want to select what will be thriving in this area. |
