Trying other Bananas where Basjoo gets frozen hard?

I was just wondering if anyone is experimenting with M.sikkimensis, M.Initinerans, E.glaucum, or other new Musas where M.basjoo is usally the only banana to survive the winter? There are so many other hardy Musa seeds coming into the country now. M.sikkeminsis(red tiger, manipur, red stripe) , M.cheesmanii, M.thomsonii, M.yunnanensis, M.balbisiana(hardy form), and various unnamed Musas from cold areas, making their way here.

I'm going to try M.balbisiana, and M.cheesmanii up in the cold zone 7 hills(or colder), and maybe others if enough sprout.

There has got to be some banana zone pushers out there in the cold north somewhere......
