I hope someone more knowledgeable answers. I orders 2 "SP" plants from them yesterday. But, being in New Orleans, I don't have your problem. I'm sure mne will grow pretty fast down here.

Compared to most of the country, LI has a long growing season. Give your plants plenty of water when it is warm - in fact black magic can be grown as aquatic plants - they grow very quickly, by august they will easily be full size

I received my 2 plants from Wellspring100 yesterday, and while they are very small, they look really healthy. I ordered an ELEPHANT EAR - Alocasia 'Lauterbachiana', a different looking elephant ear, and a PITCHER PLANT Sarracenia Judith Hindle. It's still a little cool here are night - in the 50's, so for a while, I'll keep them in my kitchen under the cabinet lights.
