Hello,

I have questions about planting bamboo to create shade for a tropical garden. Bamboo does really well in my area, but it can be difficult to contain. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum grows bamboo and, if so, what do you do to contain it to certain areas of your garden?

If containment is you main concern, you should ask about the "clumping" forms of bamboo, which spread very little, if at all.
