Dear All,

I bought this plant a couple years ago, and it flowered for the first time last December. If anyone can provide more info on this plant, I would surely appreciate it.

Sure is a beauty. If you don't get an answer try posting it on the Aroid forum. Very knowledgeable and helpful folks over there, but all I can say is it's an aroid!

It looks to me like a variety of anthurium. Is the flower fully opened?

Hi Flower MTL, I am fairly sure you have a Philodendron and a beauty it is mostly you can tell by the flower that it is a Philo if you know someone who has a true Philo snap a piece off and smell it then go home and do the same to yours,Philo's have a particular smell, be careful of sap can irritate skin and eyes, let me know how you go with it all and the smell test.
