Your Favorite Tropical Looking Hardy Plants

Mine are: Catalpa Trees, Paulownia Trees, some vegetables like squash, greens, beans on trellises, Honey Locust trees (sort of palm like), Ornamental grasses, grape vines heavily fertilized for large leaves, (not concerned about grape production)well, I have more but I'll stop here and let someone else start adding their favs. ;-)

My favorite is perennial hibiscus. I also love Musa Basjoo bananas, oleanders, crepe myrtles, cold hardy palms Washingtonia filifera. I also love Brugmansia, elephant ears & bottlebrush trees.

These plants will make it through the winters without replanting.
