 o
musa basjoo - winter flood ?

hi there, im thinking about planting Musa basjoo and some other plants down at my "lake" to give it a more tropical look.
but sometimes in the winter the area gets flooded, and in winter like the one we have just had the water freezes, will m. basjoo tolerate getting flooded in winter?
the area can also get flooded in the summer, but im guessing it will be fine with that.
heres a picture showing a part of the shallow end of the lake, it was taken last summer during the start of the drought so the water level is a little low, i don't have any other pictures showing flood or anything unfortunately.

No I would suggest making a mound a couple feet above the water and planting in a raised mound
