does anyone in florida know where i could purchase one?? i have not seen them in home depot or lowes. are they hardy in my zone??

They must be out right now. I'm sure they carry them. Try another nursery, even Wal-mart has them here in Ga.

It is a pretty easy to find palm.And of course is hardy in your area! But grows slowly...

i have had one growing here in zone 6 ( Connecticut )for over 5 years ,, this past winter i justcovered with with burpal and piled snow over it and it did just fine

i also have 2 trachycarpus palms that are doing well also

I recently purchased a needle palm from this nursery on ebay . I haven't yet received it and I've never dealt with them before, but it's a start.
