Can naranjilla (Solanum quitoense) take frost?

I've been growing this plant for a few years, keeping it indoors under lights during the winter. It's now outdoors, and a couple of nights ago we had a frost that seems to have damaged several of its leaves. What I've read, though, suggests that it is frost-tolerant.

Does anyone have experience growing this plant outdoors during the spring and fall? How tolerant is it of light frosts?
