elephant ears are drooping

I'm trying to grow elephant ears indoors in large planters. I bought collosal bulbs started them under grow lights then moved them infront of an eastern facing window and they get great morning light there now about 2ft high with leaves about 12in. across but now there stalks are bending and some of the leaves are almost touching the ground.I think there getting enough water and there not looking wilted. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or not doing.

Where do you live? They prefer to be outside if possible since they love lots of warm sunshine. It could be overwatering too.

Assuming these are Colocasia, it's virtually impossible to overwater them--they love water and in pots, underwatering is more likely. But I certainly agree with Alex that they need much more sun (and heat) than they can possibly get indoors. These are full sun plants and my suspicion is that the petioles are weak and stretching from receiving insufficient light.
