Alocasia 'Black Velvet'

| I have three of these that overwintered reasonably well but did not grow bigger indoors. I'd like to use them in a mixed border.
Is the max expected height of 20 inches what one can expect in pots indoors, or is that what plants will top out at in a sunny border given ample water and fertilizer? |

| That is usually the max in ideal native habitat tropical conditions. But if you pour on the water and fertilizer and it's hot it will grow. |
