Best way to remove foliage on a few tropicals

| I don't want to damage any of my plants, but would like to know what is the best way to remove (or not to remove if that's the case) dead/burned/yellowed foliage off some of my tropicalesque plants.
Philodendron has some all yellow leaves, Calla Lily stalks/leaves burned but not dead, new zealand flax dry and some dead leaves, Queen palms still have some yellow dead ends on the fronz (sp) from the bad winter frost. Thanks-- Terra |

| Skinny leaves or stems - sharp scissors. Fatter stems - pruners. Really fat - loppers. Cut any that are totally yellow or brown off close to the main stem. Partially brown leaves can be trimmed back into a smaller leaf shape with a sharp pair of scissors, or if the plant is healthy and has lots of leaves, you can just remove the whole leaf. |
