Best plants for my area

I was just wondering what would be the best kind of plants for my area that are fairly easy to care for seeing as how I'm a beginner gardener.
I live in Guam and it's 85 degree's here during the day and 75 ast night. Very high humidity. And we have wet and dry season that are about equal in length. |

Since virtually any tropical or subtropical plant will grow for you it might help us to know how large an area you have and are you interested in Flowers, Fruit, Trees, Shrubs or Vines? Is the soil (drainage or nutrients) or watering (dry season) a problem? Are there problems with animals or insects, humans? Try to narrow this down and you'll get better answers. Regards Chris |

| breadfruit tree, cyrtostachys renda, royal palm, any clinostigma palm, marojejii darianii, aechmeas or guzmanias, a giant leafed philodendron, ficus dammaropsis, ficus elastica, papaya (easy), plumeria, and about everything else I want to grow. |
