I as well have VOodo lily here in Canada
It does survive winters in the ground with a good covering of fall leaves
As well I bring some in in pots Just bring in the pots with the voodo lily in them

What I have labeled as voodoo lily is different than your photo
But the flower along spike does smell like bad meat and attracts lots of flies. Of course the plant is outside at that time

I love the leaves on mine really interesting
and the stinky flower if that is what it is called is longer and well different

Not sure if she hasn't taken pictures of the flower before

First the flower come up then it dies down in a couple of days and the leaves begin to open

Im looking for hardy voodoo lily and cant seem to find the correct name to start looking online...Can somebody give me the name please or if somebody has some to trade I would be so in your debt...Judy

Hi juttz. I have lost the correct name for this lily, but I would be glad to trade you something for some. They reproduce quite well, so I've got plenty. They just quit blooming for me, and yes, the yard smelled like a dead cow for a couple of weeks!
