It would be nice to grow a man-eating plant capable of eating Dex (of the ubiquitous Dexknows.com ads), assuming it could accomplish this without indigestion. :)

I have one and by the end of the summer it almost gets that big. I dig it up and put it in a cool basement for the winter, then plant it again in the Spring after the last frost.

I haven't heard of Borneo Giant doing that well in temperate climates. You can push a regular A. macrorhizza to that size with water and fert. The Virginian has done it and I have seen them.

I got this Colocasia 'Jack's Giant' from Wayside this spring as a 12" plant. Check it out- photo 7 in the album link below. It's gotten over 8' tall since May- biggest one I have grown ever.

I have around 20 Borneo Giant's and they get this large or larger every summer. They also multiply like crazy. Unfortunately, I think they crave heat and humidity which I have. That is the trick.
