| Lucky you! Living in South Florida I’m lucky to have my whole yard a tropical garden. You MUST have a pond with some type of water treatment. They are really simple. I built one in a friends DEN once. I used landscaping ties to build out a frame and a liner. We then use rocks we had collected from all over road trips over the past 10 years. We made large pillows to sit around it so that you can sit and gaze. Later we added aquatic plants & even a few turtles. I have a customer in Chicago who grows every kind of tropical fruit tree you can image. By having a pond you’re also creating the humidity you’ll need. Just make sure you have good ventilation. Congrats to you! Tamara |
