Winterizing and Storing

HI All,

Well its getting colder here in Eastern Mass. I have 2 Banana's and 4 Elephant ears, all in pots, to store and have no idea when to do it. I was told that I need to wait until the foliage has died first before cutting down, however that may be in November seeing that they are all still growing quite rapidly. Can anyone give me any insight?

RE: Winterizing and Storing

When I lived in zone 5b, ALL my tropicals came inside Oct. 1st, no matter the weather, and went out April 15th. It's easier to have parameters set than to try and out-guess mother nature IMHO!
