| We have a 3 foot tall palm-like plant that I broke trying to move it. You see them as office plants. About a 2-inch diamter trunk with a blunt, cut top and spiky leave about a foot long growing from smaller branches around the blunt end. From a brief web search, it looks to be a Dracaena or Corn Plant. I have 3 young stalks that I broke off and 3 older and larger stalks as well as the leafless truck sction. Can I root the leafy stalks or do I root pieces of the trunk? CAn I root the leaves by placing in soil or water? Any tips would be appreciated. |

| It sounds as if you have Dracaena fragrans 'Massangeana'. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Rooting Dracaena cuttings
