Can I plant Crinum's in November?

RickB

I purchased two great looking Crinum Asiaticum in an online auction. The bulbs are softball size and they have about 2 feet of growth left on them after being cut back for shipping. They are freshly dug. The root system appears to be almost completely intact. Now what do I do with them? I live in Zone 8b just North of Houston. Do I plant them in the ground (raised bed, well drained), put them in 5 gal pots for now, or pack then in peat moss and wait till Spring to put them in the ground?
