Overwintering tips for Cananga odorata

I first posted this in tropicals but Im guessing this would be a better place for it.

I can leave the tree outside all year except for a few cold snaps down to the low 30's in winter lasting at the most several days. What are the best indoor conditions to keep my tree happy till warmer weather comes?

I have read it can take temps in the lower 40's. Has anyone tried this tree in zone 9 or above? Success or no?
