This picture was from 2003 when I was really into tropicalissimo! I have always thought this was a really nice pairing.
Pictured are as follows: Ricinus 'Dwarf Purple' Castor Beans,Tropaeolum majus Trailing Nasturtium, Canna sp., and an Ensete ventricosum

I agree, I think it looks really nice! Im surprised at how well the castor beans go with the cannas, and the trailing vines make a great groundcover. My cannas are in a pot and this year I used wandering jews as a groundcover, but next year I might try to find something else to mix with the wandering jews.
