| Hello
I am living in Cameroon on the continent of Africa. Today we picked some fruit the locals call apples, but they aren't. The fruit looks like a red delicious from a distance, but the foliage is tropical. It's a tree with long fairly slender darkish green glossy leaves. The fruit is white with the texture and taste more like a pear. The fruit isn't as dense as a pear or apple, but is tasty. Does anybody know what we're eating? The botanical name would be helpful so I can google it and get more information. Thanks. |
