What's your favorite Tropical drink?

| You know, the drink that just isn't complete without that little UMBRELLA in there?
When I was younger, I used to drink a lot of rum drinks, which lend themselves very well to little umbrellas. But for the last, oh, maybe 25 years, I have only drank wine, so I have to say mine is homemade Sangria, with a little brandy mixed in, and tropical fruit like pineapple, starfruit, and kiwi in place of the usual apples, peaches and oranges |

My fave drink of all time is a margarita (not very original lol) but tequila agrees with me :P
Another one I tried lately was I mixed some of Hawaii's Own brand frozen (Starfuit kind) concentrate add ice and captain morgan rum(they have a mango, pineapple and coconut flavors) to taste. I put in mango and coconut. Blend....You can add a little margarita mix, lime juice or water if it is too sweet. |

| One of the MANY jobs I used to have in order to pay for school was bartending. I used to make a killer daiquiri... and fortunately nobody complained about the missing umbrella. Those be fightin' words! |

| pineapple juice, 'cept I'm getting Carpel-Tunnel from squeezing all the fruits by hand. Oh, with a little umbrella stuck in the glass too! |

| NON alcoholic drink; there's a blended ice shake I would make in summer. I added well ice =), condensed milk, canned longans, and canned jackfruit, then blend. I never really tried it much with alcohol. But did experimented with using Hennessy before in them, for some reason it seemed to impart a kind of pineapple smell & tastes. Its the oddest thing. |

| When I'm out on a hot day, working in the yard--I absolutely love a big mug of Goya's Guarana over ice. I've become addicted to it. Of course, I read somewhere that it has WAY more caffeine than coffee. -Ron- |

| Hey Everyone, Try Passion fruit juice, it's good...or even papaya shakes, my mom made those for us growing up in Islands. I now use the stuff in the can since I live in an icebox (Canada) but they are good too. Zarro |

| I made up a drink called coco ice. I take Coco Lopez and dilute with water 1/2 and 1/2, freeze it, and then blend it with a little milk in the blender, its YUMMY! One of my other fave drinks is a Tamarindo slushy. I use Tamcon pulp, from the Indian market, sweeten it with Equal, dilute with a little water to make a slurry, then add a little milk and ice in the blender. YUMMMMMM |
