Staghorn Fern

| Can someone help me with a stag horn fern?I spotted it laying in my neighbors yard.It was all dried up in direct sunlight.It still has green fronds,not too pretty,but alive.I have read people throw it a banana once in awhile,so i put one in the back of it,and some dried up seaweed,mounted it in moss on a oak board and soaked it down.I put it in my tree,but it is too small of a tree,i live on a canal and it is very windy.I really don't have shade anywhere else.Can i hang it on my front porch that is closed in?Is there anything else that i can do to help it?I have always wanted one,i felt sick when i saw it on the ground.Any advise would be helpful. |
