This might be a tough plant to get to you as it's in a 7 gallon planter and probably stands 2 1/2 ' tall. I live in Raleigh are you planning any roadtrips to the outer banks?

Unfortunately, no! I do plan on being in Charlotte in late July, but I don't think my husband and daughter would take to kindly to driving me almost 200 miles each way to get a plant. They don't think too much of my plant fetish anyway!

You could remove the plant from the pot, cut back the foliage, and then mail the bulb. I have one about 3' tall that I recently moved. The bulb is a little smaller than a softball. I have the Curcuma elata from your list if you want to trade.

I have a white/yellow and a pink plumeria I can get cuttings from, rooted bromeliads (Bilbergia Pyramidilis), and a shoot of variegated Dr. Moy's hydechium. I also have an orange bird of paradise but it is blooming right now and I do not have the heart to divide it.
Could you get the crinum out of the pot and divide it?
Thank you.

I have everything but the orange bird, I could send you sevral babies for a division, Perhaps we should wait for spring as I am not so sure how the bird of paradise will respong after being divided and brought inside for the winter. email me your response to csmith@slickedit.com
