WANTED: Recovering a plant

I have a stag horn fern 72" in circumference that was accidentedly included within a vikane termite tenting. The leaves are brown and the plant looks bad. It was tented on the 14th and discovered today, the 16th. Interestingly the ants inside it are alive. I flooded it with water today when it was discovered. Ant suggestions are desperately wanted.

It will probably recover - they're pretty tough. I'd put it somewhere under a shade tree and keep it misted once a day. The damaged pads will probably fall off, but should be replaced with healthy new ones.
