I recently purchased a Barbara Karst Bougainvillea. Unfortunately, before planting I failed to read the card attached to the plant and planted it pretty much like I have done other flowers and vines. So I watered it well after planting. However, I'm a bit confused. As I was looking up care for this plant there was mention of it liking water, but the tag says 'Arid Dry.' So which is it? I think I gave it too much water and it was awfully droopy so I moved it out of the ground and into a pot and did not give it any water. I live in SC and the soil drains well but after a day in the sun (and 80+ degrees) the plant was and is still drooping. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
