Identify Tropical Plant

I grew up in Hawaii and had this plant growing as a hedge in front of my house in Ewa Beach. I never knew what it was called. We recently got a bunch of them in at the garden center I work at, but they were tagged only as "tropical landscape" plants. Can anyone tell me the name of it please? Thank you very much.
