My Ylang Ylang is in the pot for a year now. It's about 5-6 ft tall and I'm thinking of propagating it. Can I do a cutting on it and if so how do I go about doing it? Do they flower in the pot and if so at what height? Will appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I am not positive, but I think that you can't propagate ylang ylang from cuttings-but only from seeds. They do flower from the pot, but I am not sure when. I would think it would depend some on the type of fert that it is getting, the amt of water and sun.

Thanks Terryster. Do you or any one else here have pictures of your Ylang Ylang tree in bloom? Any idea how I can post my pix here?

Mine is smaller than yours and has not bloomed. I don't have a clue how to post pictures here! I think through Photobucket. Good luck with that :)
