The growth will be slightly stunted because - hey - it's a cutting, but making a cutting from a plant means it's gonna grow its own roots. Which aren't the dwarfing rootstock.

So.....much closer to full size.

erict is correct. Most all citrus (edible ones) can become quite large trees. What makes them 'dwarfed' is the particular rootstock onto which they are grafted. 'Flying Dragon' trifoliate is a common dwarfing rootstock. Rooted cuttings of the edible citrus will become normal-sized trees again. What varieties are you growing? Some people maintain smaller plants by pruning the growth as well as roots.

As I suspected. Suspected sooner would have been preferred but never the less...Thanks for answering my question I appreciate it fully, and congrats on your first post. I'm not sure of the variety that I'm growing, the Catalogue I ordered from doesn't specify. But I'm happy to say the lemon was only potted for a few months and it was covered in blooms, although it isn't doing so well now.
